Staff Scientist at the Instituto de Micro y NanoTecnología (IMN-CSIC) and founder of the spin-off company g2-Zero. I have been working in the field of quantum dot optics and photonics since 2003. In this time, I have developed high-resolution optical spectroscopy methods and applied them to semiconductor quantum dots and nanowires embedded in nanodevices. Currently, I focus on the development of electrically driven quantum light sources and optical quantum memories with large topology-driven spin-orbit coupling. Another aspect of my research is to improve third generation solar cells and solar cell materials combining advanced photonic and electronic design.
