Early Warning System (SAT)

Sistema de alerta temprana SATThe CCN-CERT launched this system in 2008 to ensure early action before a given incident occurs or, at least, to detect the incident at an early stage to minimize its impact and reach. The Early Alert System (SAT) —aimed at the early detection of incidents and anomalies in the Administration and companies of strategic interest— is part of the strategy adopted by the National Government CERT to prevent, correct and counter incidents.

The SAT follows a twofold approach based on a common factor: the early detection of intrusions. In both cases, those responsible for security that have been duly authorized may have access to a reporting website to check security events in real time and to produce customized reports.

Every year, the CCN-CERT organises an annual sharing day with all the organisations involved in this service (or those that may be involved in the future), in order to take stock of the year and share their knowledge:
